Went there a few weeks ago with the purpose of asking the staff about board game which could also be played solo. To my surprise both employees were baffled by my question, didn't know that it's even a thing and couldn't help me. It was me who was giving them ideas of what I'm looking for, which is ridiculous. The board games' selection wasn't that good either, it was lacking many good titles, which I'd seen in other stores. So all in all I drove 20 miles there to find out that I know more about board games than the employees.
The same price they planned on charging for 1 of the games I was offering them....was offered for a lot of games for 3 systems, a full console and controllers. Bottom line. Don't sell these folks your games. Its never going to be worth it. Just go online and save yourself the time.
Builds and supports the gaming community while carrying a great selection of games, comics, and more. Staff takes a genuine interest in customers - they take time to learn your name and make you feel welcome. The back half of the store is devoted to tables where players of all types and interests gather. They hold events at the store all the time. Clearly they believe in earning loyal customers for the long term rather than going for the quick buck. This is a business I feel good about spending $$ in.
Great place to go and play games or pick up board games or trading cards. Amazing welcoming environment. The staff and everyone there is friendly and will help you with whatever you need to know about the products or playing.
I went to Gamers Gambit 3 weeks ago to look for an N64 game. The staff helped me find it, I took it home and found it didn't work. That game retailed for $64. I brought it back and they quickly gave me a refund. A few weeks later I found two copies of the same game in my home and decided it would be a good idea to offer them up for some store credit. Both worked without any issue. I expected they might give me around 50 percent of what they would retail then for or a bit less, so they could make a profit.
I brought those games and around 12 others to the store in hopes that I could get some store credit. Along with a console and 10 working controllers. The total I could get for the lot on eBay or a comparable site was around 250 to 400 dollars depending on demand and time of year. But I decided I would take much less, for the convenience of not having to sell individually.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have video games, board games and card games galore.
They offered me 70 dollars.
