My experience with Dr. Bell has been truly excellent so far. My son is undergoing OIT (peanut desensitization treatment). This has meant appointments every two weeks for the past year or so. The staff is friendly and great with my son, who is 5 years old. Dr. Bell himself is also wonderful and takes the time to talk to my son at each visit to make him feel comfortable. As a clinician, Dr. Bell has been so far above and beyond what I have experienced from any other allergist thus far. Allergy testing and treatment are not a black and white science - there is so much grey area and information that must be interpreted by a trained allergist. Dr. Bell has truly done everything he can to explain his thought process along the way and to make sure that we understand the process completely as we go. He has even called us to explain test results after the rest of the office has left for the day. Dr. Bell communicates the facts concisely and you know that you are getting the benefit of his years of experience as an allergist. At our previous allergist, we were given handouts and sent on our way with really no direction after our son was diagnosed with an allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. We also were told there was no treatment for peanut allergy. I am so thankful that Dr. Bell has started the OIT program at this practice - it has put our mind at ease and is helping so many families like our own.
