Had a sears card for 6 years no late payment and you guys cut my credit line? Guess you like losing customers..... it's no wonder they'll be out of business soon.
I will never go there again. I hope they go out of business soon as I will never go there again.
My wife bought me some tools for my birthday and I wanted to return them and spend more money for the upgraded model. the said "no receipt, no returns" I explained that I wanted to spend twice the amount and they would not allow the return. I asked for the manager and she told he that even she could not override the system.
I was all set to get a store credit for the part and buy something else at Sears since I am already in the store. But now this may be my last Sears shopping experience. I can see why they're going out of business. Don't they understand that we are paying for a service?. Otherwise I could easily buy it on the Internet for less money.
My experience with Sears hardware store in Shelton Ct : their phone number listed both with Sears and in the phone directory and even on the store receipt is not in service. There was no way to reach them by phone. I wasted 30 minutes trying to reach them by phone. I ended up driving 25 minutes to the store because I really needed a certain part - a replacement blade part for my craftsman mower. I brought the parts that they needed with me so that they could fit it exactly and provide me with the part I needed. They gave me the part that they said I needed. I got home. It didn't fit. Not even close. When I went to return the part to the Sears store in Danbury, they tell me that they do not accept returns from the Shelton store. They said something about Shelton being a franchise. There's nothing on the receipt or on any sign anywhere indicating that it's a franchise or that I couldn't return the part to the Danbury store. It's got "SEARS" plastered all over it!
Needs more points of sale. Many items that you are looking for are not stocked. Employees who are there are helpful.
Ordered a stove online on 11/27. Was called and told they have reschedule until 12/15 due to inventory issues(after being told when I bought it it was in stock) so 12/15 comes and they rescheduled again to 12/23 because it still wasn’t in. 12/23 after waiting all day am told at 530 the driver got injured on his route and would not be making the deliver and I would get a call to schedule another time. Was never called but got a call at 630am from a driver on 12/26 stating he would be delivering the item between 10 and 12. I was working this day so I called and spoke with a supervisor who promised they would move the order to the end of the route and it would be delivered after 6pm and to call if I am home sooner. At 4pm I called the driver that had called me in the morning to inform I would be home shorty and he said he’s already heading back to the shop and was never told to deliver it at the end of the day. Once again I called in and a supervisor told me they have to reschedule AGAIN to 12/30. So today here I am waiting with no precall or anything so I check the website order and it says delivered. So I call in and am told they damaged it on the truck and no longer carry this model and I have to work with the credit department on choosing a new stove and delivery date. I told the rep to refund my money and I will get the stove from Lowe's Home Improvement because I have never once had an issue with them. I hope the employees are addressed on these issues because this was the worst service I have ever experienced. With the extreme decline the company is taking these are not the employees to turn it around.
How F@#ked up is that? They could make more money and they refused.
