I was a loyal employee of this retail store, however it is rather annoying that they have employees in the checkout line, just to say hi. I'm trying to check out and leave not make small talk with some teenager employees. Who could be better used as cashiers when the line is almost at the poor shoe department.
The store employees and manager all said the store is only open till 9:30 PM even though the Google website for Marshalls in Danbury, CT said it's open till 10:00 pm. A little disconcerting unfortunately when one thinks they have 45 Minutes to find a quick gift only to find out that they are closing in 15 minutes announced when you walk in at 9:.5 pm. The manager is saying it's corporate's issue. I just hope this review helps bring it up to corporate's attention? Thank you.
Smallish store. Congested. Lighting could be better. Employees have their days when they are super friendly and days when they just ignore customers.
This was one of the better Marshall's I have been in as far as being organized and the selection of merchandise.
It was too warm in the store, for a hot day. This is the second time this has happened in the last 3 weeks. Employees weren't really friendly. The line was too long for the register. I got treated like I was stealing coming out of the fitting room they stopped me so they could count all of my items. And in the shoe section nothing was restocked. Overall bad experience. I would go to another but there is only one in my area.
