EDIT: Came back to get a bike, and actually got great help from the associate in the bike Dept.
Golf department at Danbury store are in terrific hands with Nick and Joe. ..spent alot of time with helping me select irons and driver. ..extremely courteous
Looking for a new pair of Nikes. Shoe area a mess, plain and simple. No staff, no sizes and expensive. Why would anyone buy anything at this place? If I could give it zero stars, I would.
My son made a purchase and loaded his item in the car and lost the receipt. He came home and realized the item was wrong to went back to the store, within an hour, and they wouldn't give him his full amount back. I phone the store and ask to speak to a manager I got a manager on the phone her name was Sarah extremely young and very rude. She proceeded to hang up on me while I was talking to transfer me to somebody else who would handle the situation. I got a very nice gentleman by the name of Kyle who was more than willing to help my son who was they're waiting for someone to help him. If it wasn't for Kyle I would not even be giving them one star for how they handled the situation.
This Dick's is poorly organized with lots of indifferent staff. Perhaps the pay is so low that the staff has zero motivation. If Dick came to this particular store he would be dissatisfied! One cashier was available with a line 13 customers deep. Eventually a second cashier arrived. However, it took over 5 minutes to get that particular computer up and running while the line only grew deeper.
Still had to wait a while to checkout, but the new experience partially redeemed the store in my eyes.
Had to wait nearly half an hour to get help.
Understaffed to the point of absurdity.
