Best. Pizza. Ever. This place has ruined every other pizza I've ever had. It's a shame it's clear across the country from my home. I cannot do this pizza justice with words. It has to be eaten for it to really be described properly.
A Connecticut favorite, Pepe's has expanded from its New Haven birthplace in recent years. The Danbury location features all of the coal fired oven flavor and classic pizza toppings, including white clam, that Pepe's is known for. It seems less busy than the New Haven location, as customers can be seated shortly after their arrival. This location also serves beer and wine. Pepe's has always produces tasty pizza, and you can't go wrong with any toppings. With so much going for them, Pepe's could be a little more innovative when it comes to sides and topping combinations.
Try the classic cheese pizza if you want something closer to the authentic Italian original.
First time here and definitely will come back. Love the cozy feeling and service was great. Ashley was our server and she was very accommodating. We had the spinach, mushroom and gorgonzola white pizza.
Great place for lunch. Good food. Quick and polite service. Had the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious.
Definitely the best pizza in whole of Connecticut, if not the US. I travel to this area frequently for work, and PEPE is a must for me.
