I love the park. Tarrywile has lots of good things to offer. I always find myself having great time going for a hike. There's easy trails if all you're looking for is a relaxing walk around the pond or around the green fields, for those feeling a little more adventurous there is always the yellow trail that leads you to a pick which provides an amazing view of the town of Danbury. Not that long ago I had a picnic date with my girlfriend and we had such a fabulous time enjoying ourselves and reconnecting with nature and our surroundings. I definitely love everything about this park and will always recommend it to anyone who wants to get out of their usually cube.
This park/hiking trail is about 1.5 miles from Downtown Danbury. I really liked this place. There is a pond(close by the entrance) and a lake. The trail starts by the pond. We took a right by the pond and the blue trail to hike. The markings are little confusing but you can figure out easily if you know what direction you are moving. The blue trail markings are suddenly gone when we got close to the finish mark, we had to follow the white markings to hit the finish mark(where we started). It took us around 1hr to complete the trek. Indeed a good place to hang out with friends/family.
So many different trails, a nice size lake for dogs to swim in. Have a picnic, do yoga, it's gorgeous
Beautiful grounds, miles of hiking through meadows and woodlands, spectacular views.
Beautiful scenes, great for family picnics, they also have miles of awesome trails, great spot to bring your dog for a walk! Weddings catered here are also amazing, this is my favorite park in the area!
