Good for some decent hiking, pet friendly and clearly marked trails .. good for once in while kind of thing. Great in summers or right after snowfall. It's beautiful!!!
It's a pretty good hike! I visited with my sister and we sang along the path, reminiscing and laughing. The hike down towards the lakeside was very rocky but the view is beautiful and peaceful.
Great place to walk dogs been going here since I was a little kid memories that lasted for eternity.
I come here with my dog and we love it! It's super dog friendly and have very clear trails. There's plenty of parking too which is a plus! There are some really wooded areas but also some nice wide open meadows too. Definitely recommend!
Nice area for hiking/mountain biking that provides access all the way to the water on the New Fairfield side of Candlewood Lake. And there's a very fun rope swing into the water back there, but it's a shame that it keeps changing as people continue to cut it down just as it gets broken-in & people get used to how it works.
