Went to sit down and eat after movies. Staff forced us to use touch screens to order, which don't accept cash, so we had to return to the register anyway. Placed number card at table for food delivery, they called out the receipt number at the counter anyway so that system was useless. Then just as we started eating the manager came around and said, were closed. And did not let us finish our food, would have nice to hear that as we placed our orders. Lastly they limit your sauces to 3, which is just asinine and they ignored my extra pickles request in the touch screen system, which was also printed on my receipt. I absolutely hated my experience and the staff was utterly rude. Will not be returning to this establishment.
Any company who is lucky enough to have the manager here at McDonald's Danbury is fortunate. Friendly, intelligent, and an excellent leader. Don't oose him McDonald's. He is a star. 5 star.
I also note that they regularly mark orders as "ready" on the wait-list, even when they haven't finished putting it together, to falsify "ticket completion times".
Alway's went to MC Donald's as a kid. Till this day I go, nice and helpful staff. Clean and fresh food/coffee.
WARNING: If you are lactose intolerant, do NOT eat here. They will NOT "Hold the cheese". (Even if you say "sostener el queso", because no one speaks English!!! ) Using the digital kiosk doesn't help, as the receipt they use is also printed in English.
I must have asked them 5 times to confirm I wanted GRILLED chicken, not CRISPY chicken. I get my sandwich, ask the girl "is this grilled chicken?" She says yes. I drive home and it's a sorry looking crispy chicken sandwich. I drove back because I can't stand paying $10 for something I didn't order and the replacement they gave me was awful. This is a beautiful location that would better suit Spanish speakers. Brush up on your Espanol or use their fancy touch screens inside to make sure your order is registered correctly.
